Bell House Equestrian offers all clients a bespoke and personal riding experience on our lovely horses. We provide a variety of riding lessons for adults and children as young as 9 years old. We cater for those aiming to develop their horse riding abilities. This includes individuals looking to regain their skills after a break, or further develop riding skills, and children eager to progress with their riding. Lessons will take place in our 60m by 30m floodlit outdoor arena, with qualified, experienced Coaches. We provide a welcoming and encouraging environment for all clients, to meet individual requirements.

We also offer coaching sessions for horse owners who wish to build their confidence and achieve specific goals. If you’re looking to improve your flatwork, jumping skills, horse care knowledge, or simply want to enjoy time with your horse while developing confidence in a supportive setting, please contact us to arrange an initial discussion about your requirements.

Willow

Willow is a stunning grey Irish sports mare who is mostly a leisure, dressage and show jumping mare. She loves to hack out and canter in open fields. Willow is a sensitive and kind mare, who is well schooled, ideal for the more experienced rider.

Woody

Woody is a handsome 17hh Irish Draught Gelding. He is an experience Showjumper, and also competes successfully in Working Hunter shows. He is a bold and willing gelding who is suited for the more experienced rider.

Hector

Hector is a 16.2hh ISH Gelding. He is a lovely person, who competes with his owner rider, Debbie Wilson (BHSI Coach) in British Eventing and lends a hand to helping riders improve their schooling techniques on the flat and over fences at Bell House Equestrian..

Ruby

Ruby is a beautiful bright bay 15.1hh Irish sports horse. She is sensitive, and exuberant and is great for more experienced riders.

Zebedee

Zeb is the cheekiest little chap, who is loved by everyone, he is 14.1hh and 7 years old. Zeb loves working in the arena, jumping and cantering in the open. He is a fabulous all-round pony to suit novice, intermediate children and small adults.

Herman

Herman is a dressage schoolmaster who has previously schooled to medium level dressage. He is kind and beautifully schooled with an established flying change.  He is 22 years old but doesn’t feel it! Suitable for intermediate and more experienced riders.

Hunter

Hunter is a 12.3hh cob gelding who is an excellent pony, ideal for children with basic riding skills looking to improve their abilities both on the flat and over fences. He also loves hacking and cross-country riding.

Harry

Harry is a 14.2hh bay Connemara gelding. He is a schoolmaster with the kindest temperament and loves his work. He is suitable for children and small adults who want to further develop their flatwork and jumping skills.

  • Semi-Private 1hr Riding Lesson (2-3 riders) £35

  • Private 1/2 Hour Riding Lesson (Child 8-13 yrs) £40

Hacks

  • 45 Minute Private Intermediate/Advanced Rider Hack: £50

  • 1 Hour 15 minute Private Advanced Rider Hack: £60

  • 45-minute Semi-Private Intermediate/Advanced Hack: £40 pp

  • 1 Hour 15 minute Semi-Private Advanced Rider Hack: £50 pp

Horse Care Sessions

BHS Horse Care Diploma Courses

Livery

We offer full, part and working livery packages. Full livery includes daily care for your horse, part livery allows owners more involvement in daily care and working livery is the full livery service with permission to use your horse for suitable riders to have lessons on to continue your horses education. We take pride in the care of all horses at our centre, so you can be certain that your horse will receive top-quality care from our small team of experienced staff. Courses and Qualifications

Bell House Equestrian Training Centre holds centre approval to deliver BHS Qualifications Work-based Diplomas from Level 1-3 in Horse Care and Riding.
